Jorge Sierra was looking for a project where the wine did not have to pretend, and found it on the slate terraces of Chantada, hanging over the Miño. To make the wine, the winemaker Simbad Romero, a friend, was called in. “As londras” are the slopes that fall towards the river.
On these terraces you can only harvest by hand, with a basket on your back. With no herbicides, each plot ferments separately with its own yeasts; many reds go through carbonic maceration. No added sulphites, unfined and unfiltered, in small numbered editions.
