Oscar Mestre is a winemaker and the fourth generation of Bodegas Riko, in Xaló, in the Marina Alta of Alicante. The family mostly sold bulk wine; in 2018 the project of Oscar's own began, with the oldest vines of the house and with abandoned dry-farmed terraces that are gradually being recovered.

Works Muscat of Alexandria and Giró, and revives local varieties such as Trepadell. Hand harvest, native-yeast fermentation and minimal sulphur dioxide. Insurrecte comes from vines of about fifty years old: it ferments in 350-litre clay jars and ages five months on lees, with a light veil of flor.
