Peter Radovič belongs to the new generation of the Karst, the limestone plateau between Italy and Slovenia, north of Trieste. With the family, three hectares of steep terraces on white stone and red earth are worked, among olive trees and lashed by the bora wind.
Grows Vitovska, Malvasia Istriana and Terrano by hand, converting to organic. Ferments with indigenous yeasts in vats carved from the Karst's own stone, macerates the whites on their skins and ages in neutral barrel or clay jar, with no additives and minimal sulphites.
