Raúl Bello makes wine in Leza, in Rioja Alavesa, convinced that the wine is already in the plot and the winemaker only has to avoid spoiling it. Tempranillo, Garnacha and Viura live together on clay-limestone soils worked plot by plot in certified biodynamics, following the lunar calendar.
Harvests by hand, ferments with native yeasts and uses some stems depending on the wine. Ages twelve months in used French barrel and finishes for a few months in stainless steel. Does not fine, does not filter and adds only a minimal dose of sulphur dioxide. The range goes from the tavern clarete to the most personal blends.
